The Shanghai Composite Index stopped its four-day losing streak to gain 1.79 percent or 51.20 points, to close at 2,904.11 points today on transaction value of 136.47 billion yuan.
The Shenzhen Component Index rose 2.51 percent or 314.90 points to close at 12,872.45 points today on transaction value of 123.17 billion yuan.
