SYDNEY FC coach Vitezslav Lavicka is expected to resist the temptation to rush dynamic attacker David Williams back into the side for tonight’s crucial away match against Korean club Suwon Bluewings.
Despite the Sky Blues’ hopes of reaching the knockout stage hanging by a thread, Williams is likely to start from the bench with Lavicka sticking to the XI that produced a quality performance to beat Shanghai Shenhua 3-2 in China two weeks ago.
Williams and defender Stephan Keller missed that game through injury. Williams did not look fully fit when the squad had its final training session in Sydney last Friday before leaving for Korea on Sunday, but looked more comfortable when the side trained yesterday.
